With a lot of rain that was in the area, Station 23 was alerted to a basement wall collapse in the 6900 block of Ridge Road, Harmons / Dorsey. CU & SQ23 arrived to find in fact an exterior basement wall of a dwelling that had collapsed. There was no gas service to the dwelling, and the home was occupied but all the occupants were able to get out of the dwelling safely. Crews from 23 investigated for any further possiblity of collapse and the county building inspector was requested. CU & SQ23 were back in-service at 10:49 hours.
