A full water rescue call brought out units from Station 23 to try to locate a swimmer that had not surfaced while swimming in the Patuxent River at the Anne Arundel / Prince Georges County line near the Route 4 bridge in Wayson's Corner.
After a couple hours of search efforts between the county's dive team (Sta. 8 - Bay Ridge), Station 23 and units searching along the shore line, the deceased body of the victim was recovered at 17:46 hours. Units from Station 23 were back in-service at 19:38 hours.
